A. No. The tabs are worth the same as the actual aluminum can.

A. In Oregon, people pay a five-cent deposit for each can of soda they buy, and if they return the empty can to the store they get their nickel back and break even. In Texas, we don't have to pay a deposit when we buy soda at the store, so we break even right away. And then we can sell our empty soda cans to Recycling Center and make a clear profit.
